I don't really like to leave bad reviews, but after the umpteenth time of receiving deplorable service here I feel like I need to. These guys never know how to answer some of the most basic questions that I have for them. Today I went in looking for some fire bricks to build my fire pit. The guy looks at me funny and says "fire bricks?" Yes buddy they're on your website, and they're a necessity for a brick fireplace because normal bricks aren't made to take those high temperatures. He then shows me some basic concrete bricks and tells me that I can use them and that someone telling me to buy fire bricks is just them getting me to spend more money. I know that's not true because last year I wasted several hundred dollars and several hours of my time building a fire pit with the bricks that that guy was recommending to me and the whole thing cracked and crumbled in less than a couple months. Then I had to take the whole thing down and start over. So maybe in the future Home Depot let the team know that if they don't have the answer it would be a lot better for them to just say they don't know rather than to make up a b******* answer that could cost someone several hundred dollars and hours of their time. Like I said this is not the first time I have gotten terrible advice from the staff here. I have basically resigned myself to only come in here if I know exactly what I need and exactly how to use it because I can't trust the staff to know anything. It's true Home Depot, I can do it but but you can't help.

Ran to this location on my lunch so short on time. Worker approached me and asked if I needed any help. After I told him I didn't he proceeded to present a sales pitch to me and ask me a bunch of questions. After a few minutes I finally cut him off and told him I wasn't interested. I hate being rude but why do they think my time isn't valuable and they can waist it without asking first if I am even interested or have the time to listen? Hate this kind of sales tactic.
I love this store. The staff is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. They have a larger selection then some of the other home depots in the area so I prefer this one.
