Took my daughter to the bathroom, orange mildew ring in the toilet.
Piss poor at best. Long wait time. Food has gone down hill a lot.
Took my son and grandson to Applebee's in Hi Jordan Landing, West Jordan tonight. Our waitress was fabulous. He name was Kathy Clark. She is always so nice to young kids ands makes their experience fun. Food was great...music was too. Great place!
The food was delicious and plentiful. The variety of the 2for25 menu is impressive. The server was great, and we got free dessert for our anniversary.
We were sat down pretty quickly, but the server didn't give is enough silverware. Made our appetizer order and she asked if we were ready to order our dinner entrees also, we said yes, thinking she would take them down and put the dinner order later. Apps and dinner came out at the same time, we didn't have enough room at the table so they said they would set them under the hot lamp. Gross. 5 minutes later she asks if were ready for dinner entrees yet, we say yes just so we can get the hell out of there. Then manager comes with the other part of the appetizer sampler they forgot after our dinner. Salsa was pace picante, spinach artichoke was premade frozen, shrimp was boxed frozen.
I love Applebee's food, and the restaurant itself has always been nice and clean. But it seems like every time we've been here, the service is sooo slooooow. Every step of the process, and I've been a server, so I know how long it should take to bring out a glass of water after someone orders it. So great food, meh service.
The basil on my dinner was obviously dried out and old. My daughter's mac and cheese was cold. The mozzarella sticks were cold. Waitress came every 3 minutes to the table. She was pleasant, but when she saw we were unhappy she didn't offer to discount the meal, or offer to take off the food that was inedible.
Sangria drink so full of ice, beware, that's what your paying for, ice, no alcohol. And they tasted terrible because they were not made properly. We will not be returning, even if they offered us free food for a year.
