For the price I paid for grooming, it was a job not real well done. Uneven cut, missed sections, ears not cleaned.....I can't recommend them. It was a clean facility and they were friendly.
As you can see by the response to my husband's review - the complete lack of accountability for flat out unprofessionalism is what you will get when dealing with this business.
I've never been treated as meanly in a business setting as I have by the owner of this business and will make sure no one I know makes the same mistake. This is a case where you get what you pay for, their prices are low for a reason.
We take our goldendoodle to Abraxas for daycare daily and absolutely love the friendly and knowledgeable management and staff. From the first day we dropped her off, the staff paid attention to detail. They knew our dogs name, they knew our schedules, they matched my dog with other compatible dogs to play with, I even get free dog training tips from them often. On a rainy day our dog got into some mud while playing outside at daycare and they had the courtesy to clean her and dry her before we came to pick her up! If you stop and talk to the owner for five minutes you will be able to see these are real dog loving people. I love being able to drop my dog off and know she will be safe, played with, and best of all... worn out from all of the fun when I pick her up. You couldn't find better people, better prices, or better quality. I highly recommend Abraxas to anyone who wants their pet treated like they are part of the family!
We started taking our Siberian Husky to this place, the older lady that took him did not seem to care much for him and continue to show the same sentiment any time we took him , to the point were she was asking why were back and that he was going into a isolation kennel , now i know Huskies are escape artist and have alot of energy but she made me and wife feel like she did not want him there , we had a conversation were she mention he was better and apologized for her previous attitude , but then again today she did same thing , she makes us feel like we dont want our pup and that its a hassle for them to watch them ,. I explained that we dont have a big back yard , and that when he has been left home alone he destroyed our house . The one positive is that one of the gals there the younger one that is pregnant she is super nice and never had issues with our Huskie and she said that her dog loved playing with him . So in conclusion one person has ruined this for us.
So disapointed. When I made my reservation to board my dog, the person I talked to didn't mention special hours or required paperwork. When I showed up to drop my dog off it was just after 5, the posted hours say they are open until 5:30. The person inside was irritated and said we need to be there before 5. She also said they would not take the dog unless we provided paperwork proving he had his shots. Not unreasonable but this was not mentioned when we talked over the phone to reserve boarding. She was completely unhelpful. She stated she was not the same person that I talked to on the phone, as if there is no shared responsibility within the company. So I have a flight tomorrow and nowhere to keep my dog while I am away for a week. I wish I had not relied on this place, it's a bad situation. Very poor service.

Our dog would be visibly upset every time the owner was the one taking the dogs. The younger gal was professional and friendly.
