This is a great place for kids and families. They have a huge amount of wood building blocks for younger kids. One night when we were there they had a free project were we build owls out of toilet paper rolls and cupcake papers. My three year-old loved it. We've make few more since at home.
This is my favorite library in the Salt Lake Valley. The building is beautiful and very open which provides a lot of natural lighting. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The selection of books is beyond what I expected a library to have. I can almost always find the book I'm looking for at this location instead of waiting a few days for it to be transferred from a different location. There are activities for kids and adults almost every day. Whenever I see a group of kids doing one of the scheduled library activities they always look like they're having the time of their life. That's such a good experience for kids to have at a library so that they will want to keep coming back to the library even when they're older. At other libraries in the valley there tends to be a problem with kids and adolescents maintaining a peaceful and quiet attitude in the library so as not to disturb anybody. But not at this library! Even when there are a lot of kids or teenagers the library still remains peaceful and is a place where you can work or read. This is a great addition to the West Jordan community.
This is very awesome and large library with lots of options to pick from. It's right next to a really cool kids park as well
This library seems sophisticated. They have a drive through book drop. The cool electric book sorter was neat to see as well, and my kids loved the the fact there were easy to use tablets for the kids (8 if I recall). They also have the telescope checkout system here at this library which I am interested in trying. Nice bathroom and great playgrounds nearby make this a winning location. Likely to visit again.
