If you have questions about a product better look online if you are there on Sunday.

I hate to leave less than positive reviews, but I have no choice this time. I purchased a laptop with my student loan money and also purchased a protection plan at the same time (after being pressured into it on the spot). I left and did some research and wanted to return the protection plan that was $140. I went back into the store 15 minutes after purchasing it, and returned it. They told me my card would be refunded within 7-10 business days. I waited more than 5 weeks and after meticulously checking my bank account for a refund, and never received it. I then called this store, they told me it wasn't their issue and that I needed to call the corporate office. So I called the corporate office customer service Geek Squad department, WHILE my bank was on the line and they told me it looked like on their end, the refund was deposited into my account. When we told them, it was not in fact deposited, they lady I was speaking with got angry and hung up on me. I'm a single mom, putting myself through full-time college, $140 goes a long way. Like I said, I wish I didn't have to leave such a negative review, I just wish Best Buy would make this right.

Best Buy (in Salt Lake City at least) is not the place for car stereo upgrades. Appalling sevice across all areas at every store. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Michael Holyfield needs refresher customer service training. I can see he is very knowledgeable and thanks him for providing great technical advice, however, he gets ONE CHANCE to make a first impression and the customer in front of him is a person to be respected. His time/wages are paid by the customer. No matter how he feels, he should smile and treat customers kindly. If I said or looked at him in a way to make him mad I deeply apologize. I hope he learns to treat the next customer better from this experience.

After visiting two other Best Buy's in the Salt Lake City unsuccessfully looking for competent, timely and friendly technical assistance on how to integrate two more speakers into my existing (2016 $40k car), I settled with West Jordan Best Buy. The very friendly and apparently technically savvy representative said all I needed was the $113 Alpines with a $170 installation for a total of $283. I trusted this was competent advice, paid the money and made the installation appointment for my next day off (one week away).

I bought a laptop from Best Buy, I paid for it got it home and they gave me the completely wrong model they sold me. I drove 20 min to return it and they sold the one I had bought and had non left. They sent me 20 miles to another store to pick one up and told me they had held it. When I arrived they told me they sold the one I had on hold. They then proceeded to tell me I had to either drive 20 min to another store or wait 4 days to have it shipped. They made absolutely no attempt to apologize or make it right. They literally made me seem like the jerk. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever encountered and I will not be shopping at Best Buy again.

I arrived on time for my appointment excited and happy to finally get a little more boom boom during my driving experience. I was greated by an unsmiling gruff technician (Michael Holyfield). His first words weren't "good morning" or friendly in any way. He simply asked why is this appointment scheduled for 2.5 hours? My happy mood was set back a bit and I said I don't know, I work in surgery, I trust you to be the expert, my car is right outside. He turns his attention to his screen and begins asking more technical questions. I repeated to him I am not a car stereo person, the car is right outside, maybe if you look, it may help you know why it's scheduled for 2.5 hours. He gruffly went to look. We went back inside, then asked (with little kindness or cheer) where are the speakers? I said, I thought you have them. He told me (with little kindness) I have to get them from customer service. I said again, I don't know these processes, I work in surgery. He showed me the exit, whispered something rudely under his breath and shut the door. I am thinking to myself..."did this just happen"? Woah.

i bought a tv and the salesman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. he was able to answer all my questions. i was in and out of the store with the item i wanted in about 20 minutes... i will continue to shop with best buy...

He looks at the speakers then looks at me and tells me this isn't enough to install the speakers with an acceptable outcome. I respect his technical advice. He also quotes another approximately $200 in parts and labor to satisfactorily complete the service. Again, I respect his technical advice. I tell him no thanks, I won't be having my car stereo installed here and choose to get a refund.

I received the speakers from a very kind and understanding lady (Tiffanie) and relunctantly returned to have the speakers installed. I honestly (at this point) didn't trust the installer would treat my property with much respect. I certainly wasn't.
